Job Summary: GM Financial is focused on managing cybersecurity risk and ensuring the security of company systems and information assets. The Cybersecurity Analyst will execute a portion of the Cybersecurity Program, coordinating investigations and responses to security events while promoting adherence to cybersecurity policies. Responsibilities: • Coordinating investigation and response activities to potential security events and user inquiries from multiple sources • Investigating security events from detection to resolution, engaging in any containment, eradication and recovery actions as needed • Performing analysis of various Data Loss Prevention (DLP) alerts, user activity, and log sources to identify suspicious or unauthorized activity • Initiating, facilitating and promoting cybersecurity within the organization and monitoring adherence to cybersecurity policies, standards and controls Qualifications: Required: • 1-5 years of experience in large and complex business environments with a successful track record working directly with senior level management required • At least 1 year of experience in one or more of the following domains: Cybersecurity Governance and Risk Management, Legal Regulations, Operational Security, IT or Security Audit, Investigations, IT or Security Compliance required Preferred: • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience strongly preferred • Information Security Certifications strongly preferred Company: GM Financial is the captive finance company and a wholly-owned subsidiary of General Motors Company.
