Role: Lecturer in History Department: School of Arts and Humanities Grade: Academic 7/8 (£40,519 per annum) Responsible to: Head of School Campus: Coleraine (Fixed-Term until 31st August 2026 / Full-Time)Job Purpose: The postholder will deliver undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, supervision and learning support in History or related areas. This includes, but is not limited to, coordinating and teaching on existing modules; supporting students’ independent learning through effective use of the BlackBoard Ultra virtual learning environment; student assessment, related administration, and project supervision. They may also be required to work closely with the rest of the teaching team in developing collaborative projects with students, external partners and colleagues from other disciplines across the school and the faculty. While the emphasis of the post is on contributing to the delivery of taught provision and support for the student experience, the successful postholder will be able to access research support through UoA28 History.
