Job OverviewWe are looking for an experienced and reliable Bricklayer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for laying bricks, blocks, and other masonry materials to a high standard, ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately, and efficiently. Duties - Lay bricks, blocks, and other masonry materials in line with project specifications.
- Prepare and mix mortar to the correct consistency.
- Construct and repair walls, partitions, arches, and other brick structures.
- Read and interpret drawings and plans to ensure accurate measurements and alignment.
- Cut and shape bricks and blocks using hand tools and power tools.
- Ensure structures are level, plumb, and built to required standards.
- Carry out repointing and repair work when required.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with health and safety regulations.
- Work closely with site managers and other trades to complete projects on time.
Qualifications & Requirements - Proven experience as a Bricklayer in residential or commercial construction.
- Strong knowledge of bricklaying techniques and construction practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Skilled in the safe use of hand tools and power tools.
- Good understanding of site health and safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- CSCS card preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship.
