Job Description:
Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Bricklayer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for laying bricks, blocks, and other masonry materials to a high standard, ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately, and efficiently. This is a great opportunity to be part of a professional team delivering quality building projects. Duties
  • Lay bricks, blocks, and other masonry materials in line with project specifications.
  • Prepare and mix mortar to the correct consistency.
  • Construct and repair walls, partitions, arches, and other brick structures.
  • Read and interpret drawings and plans to ensure accurate measurements and alignment.
  • Cut and shape bricks and blocks using hand tools and power tools.
  • Ensure structures are level, plumb, and built to required standards.
  • Carry out repointing and repair work when required.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with health and safety regulations.
  • Work closely with site managers and other trades to complete projects on time.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Bricklayer in residential or commercial construction.
  • Strong knowledge of bricklaying techniques and construction practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Skilled in the safe use of hand tools and power tools.
  • Good understanding of site health and safety procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • CSCS card preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship.
