Housekeeper – Summer 2026 (H2B-In Country)

Job Summary
Winstead Inn and Beach Resort is currently hiring Housekeepers for the 2026 summer season.At this time, we can only consider in-country applicants who are currently in the United States on an H-2B visa and eligible for extension.This dynamic role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional cleaning and hospitality services in a vibrant, customer-focused environment. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of residential or hospitality facilities, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable experience for all guests and residents. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help create a pristine environment that exceeds expectations. Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential or hotel rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold high cleanliness standards
• Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing with care and efficiency
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas, hallways, lobbies, and public spaces through sweeping, trash removal, and surface disinfection
• Conduct floor care activities including carpet cleaning, polishing hard floors, and applying appropriate maintenance techniques to preserve flooring quality
• Ensure all sanitation procedures are followed meticulously to meet health regulations and safety standards
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest or resident requests promptly and professionally
• Support janitorial tasks such as restocking supplies, maintaining equipment, and ensuring all cleaning tools are in good working condition

Experience

• Previous custodial or janitorial experience in residential settings or hotels is highly preferred
• Hands-on experience with commercial cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, carpet extractors, and sanitation tools
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques for different surfaces including carpets, hardwood floors, tiles, and upholstery
• Familiarity with laundry operations including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and stain removal
• Experience in housecleaning management or supervising cleaning staff is a plus but not required
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests or residents
• Ability to work independently with attention to detail in fast-paced environments
