We are recruiting on behalf of our client - a world’s leading outsourcing company that provides services related to customer/technical support and content moderation. It is present on many European markets, Portugal included. You will be singing the contract directly with the Portuguese employer.
We are currently hiring experienced Customer Support Specialists for a leading digital banking project (UK market). This role requires a background in banking or financial customer service, particularly handling payments, disputes, and vulnerable customers.
Responsibilities: - Resolve customer queries through chat, calls, or email, aiming for first-contact resolution.
- Manage complex cases from start to finish, building trust and providing excellent service.
- Support fraud investigations, dispute resolution, and complaints handling.
- Identify and assist vulnerable customers, escalating where appropriate.
- Provide feedback and coaching to peers to improve processes and training.
- Adapt to changing business needs and work across multiple systems.
What We Offer Total Gross Monthly Salary: €1,619.33 – €1,919.33 (with apartment – provided only for international candidates) / €1,843.33 – €2,143.33 (without apartment)
Including:
- Base Salary: €1,256 (with company apartment) / €1,448 (without apartment) gross
- Holiday Allowance: €104.67
- Christmas Allowance: €104.67
- Meal Allowance: €154/month (prepaid card, tax-exempt)
- Variable Productivity Bonus: Up to €300 per month

Additional Details- Location: Lisbon (close to Oriente station).

- Schedule: 40 hours/week, rotating shifts (24/7 operation).

Mandatory Profile:
- Irish or non-Irish citizens with C1/C2 level of English
- Minimum 12 months’ experience in Customer Service within banking, financial services, or insurance (experience in Ireland required)
- Knowledge of tools such as Slack and G Suite
- Strong communication skills, empathy, and problem-solving abilities
- Confident handling complex cases, complaints, or fraud/dispute issues (Visa/Mastercard scheme knowledge is a plus)
- Adaptable, positive, and a quick learner with the ability to work across systems
