PwC Ireland is looking for a Service Architect for our Managed Services team, where your capabilities are needed to support our local business development activities, leveraging our global delivery network and 3rd party ecosystem to architect winning managed services and associated delivery chains to meet and exceed client expectations and to continue to grow our managed services business in Ireland. Purpose-led work you’ll be part of As a Senior Manager Service Architect with a s trong focus on business development , you’ll work with our local client teams and our global delivery network and 3 rd party ecosystem to shape, architect, propose and win manag ing services work with our local Irish clients . Your role is key for continuity during th e business development cycle in acting as th e hub between th e local account team and our network and ecosystem . T he delivery of technology enabled managed services, harnessing th e be st of our global network and 3 rd party ecosyst em . You will be the local lead responsible for architecting the solution leveraging the best technology enabled managed service asset s available across our network and e cosystem. Part of you r Service Architect role is also to work with cl ie n t acc o unt team s helping identify other opportunities to add value to their client . In addition, you will be joining a fast-growing local team and will have a role in further developing and building the loca l team.
R esponsibilities include:
  • Designing and architecting managed service solutions and proposals for our client teams leveraging the right and most appropriate assets across or global network and 3 rd party ecosystem ;

  • Developing collaborative relationships with delivery leads, internal solution labs and other architects , a nd 3 rd parties across PwC’s global network and 3 rd party ecosystem to successfully architect, price and sell managed services to Irish clients ( typically multi-location, multi-team services ) ;

  • Supporting client account team business development activities around managed services.

  • Keeping up to date on latest trends in managed services (e.g. application of AI) and any developments within our network and e cosystem to enhance our managed service solutions and proposals ;

  • Conducting service reviews to diagnose causes and identify reme dies when a managed service is not operating as expected ;

  • Involvement in contracting with our clients and our delivery network and 3rd parties.

  • Developing additional local service architects through training, coaching and mentorship to further enhance and build our local managed services capabilities ;

  • Building the local PwC internal knowledge and understanding of Managed Services ;

  • Coaching and mentoring of consultants fostering a culture of continuous learning , collaboration,

  • D eveloping collateral and insights to support managed service propositions ;

  • Working with the local Managed services leadership to further activate, dev e lop and grow the managed services market for Irish clients ;

Experiences and skills
  • Degree qualified with relevant service delivery qualifications (e.g. PMP , ITIL ) an advantage ;

  • 4 + years’ experience i n a Service Delivery Manager role , ideally with complex near shore and offshore delivery chains ;

  • 3+ years’ experience in a Service Architect role, ideally with complex onshore, near shore and offshore delivery chains;

  • Track record in enabling client account teams win significant work w ith clients by solutioning winning technology enabled managed service solutions.

  • An understanding of and interest in a dvisory and implementation projects and how they both have a mutually re-enforcing relationship with managed services.

  • D emonstrable experience and deep understanding of different service d elivery models and managed service commercial constructs .

  • Strong relationship management skills and experience to take service architect role across multiple opportunities / proposals ;

  • Strong negotiation and contracting skills with proven experience.

  • An experienced people leader, with a background of inspiring and developing high performance teams across multiple locations and cultures ;

  • A collaborative and pro-active team member with demonstrable experience of n urturing, guiding and mentoring teams involved in managed services .

  • Experience driving sales and o perational e xcellence and high-quality standards across managed services teams and processes;

  • A curious and analytical mind-set , with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights that support solutioning , informed decision-making and value business outcomes

  • Effective communication both verbal and written .
