Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that each sandwich is crafted to perfection. You will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. Duties

• Prepare a variety of sandwiches and wraps according to customer specifications and menu standards.
• Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and prepared in accordance with food safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
• Assist in managing inventory levels, ensuring that all necessary supplies are available for daily operations.
• Engage with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and upsell menu items when appropriate.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours while adhering to time management practices.
• Follow basic maths skills to accurately measure ingredients and manage portion sizes.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential.
• Strong culinary skills with an understanding of food preparation techniques.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is highly desirable.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and provide help where needed.
• A positive attitude towards customer service with the ability to upsell effectively.
