Associate Attorney

Associate Attorney (Admitted with Any state bar)Location: Jackson Heights, Queens, NY (In-Office)Compensation: $75,000 – $85,000 / year (Commensurate with experience)Position Type: Full-TimeJob SummaryWe are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our growing legal practice in Jackson Heights, Queens. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly admitted or early-career attorney to gain hands-on, foundational experience in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent writing skills, and a passion for client advocacy.Key Responsibilities

• Client Advocacy: Conduct initial client consultations, manage ongoing client communications, and provide updates regarding case status.
• Legal Research & Drafting: Research complex legal issues and draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and legal memoranda.
• Case Management: Maintain organized case files, track critical deadlines, and manage a diverse caseload from inception through resolution.
• Court Appearances & Depositions: Represent clients at hearings, conferences, and depositions (as permitted by jurisdiction/experience).
• Collaboration: Work closely with senior counsel, paralegals, and administrative staff to ensure efficient case progression.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Bar Admission: Must be actively admitted to practice law and in good standing in any U.S. state bar. (Candidates pending NY admission or admitted in other states are welcome to apply, provided they meet jurisdictional requirements for their practice area).
• Experience: 0–3 years of legal experience. We are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates strong potential and enthusiasm.
