Title : QAD SE Application Support Analyst Location : Kennesaw, GA (Onsite) Duration : 6 Months Visa Status : H1B/Transfer/ EAD/OPT EAD Relevant Experience (in Yrs): Detailed Job Description: We are seeking an experienced QAD SE 2014 Support Consultant with hands-on experience in providing L2/L3 support across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Inventory, Procurement, and Sales modules. The role requires strong functional expertise with basic technical knowledge of Progress OpenEdge (ABL/4GL) and exposure to QAD .NET UI. The candidate will be responsible for incident management, root cause analysis, patch support, and minor enhancements while ensuring business continuity during critical operational windows. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential for this client-facing role.
Job Responsibilities: - Provide L2/L3 production support for QAD SE 2014 across modules (Manufacturing, Inventory, Procurement, Order Management, Shipping).
- Own incidents, service requests, and problem tickets: triage, troubleshoot, resolve, document RCA, and propose preventive actions.
- Support month-end/quarter-end/year-end close processes: MRP runs, cost rollups, inventory reconciliations.
- Perform user access reviews (roles, menus, security) and master data support (Items, BOMs, Routings, Sites, Suppliers, Customers).
- Execute safe data corrections using approved procedures.
- Coordinate and validate patches, service packs, and minor releases; manage lower environments, UAT planning, and deployment execution.
- Develop and maintain SOPs, runbooks, knowledge articles, and documentation.
Must-Have Skills: - QAD SE (2014) Application Support experience in production environments.
- Strong functional expertise across core QAD modules
- Manufacturing, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, and Financials (basic GL impact awareness).
- Technical (preferred, based on role level):
- Basics of Progress OpenEdge (ABL/4GL) for controlled fixes and analysis.
- Exposure to QAD .NET UI personalization/configuration (2014).
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (ServiceNow preferred).
