Job Description:
Begin date: 4/30/2026 Full Time: Yes Number of Workers Requested: 6 Job Duties: Workers will perform duties associated with the operation of farm machinery used in the production of grain crops, including sugar beets, wheat, soybeans, corn, and canola. Employees will drive and operate tractors and other farm equipment to till soil, plant, cultivate, spray, and harvest crops. Duties include attaching and operating farm implements such as plows, discs, and drills, and towing harvesting equipment as required. Workers will operate self-propelled combines during harvest and assist with storing grain crops. Employees will transport produce, water, and supplies to and from fields, elevators, and storage facilities. No commercial or heavy truck driving requiring a CDL is required. Workers will perform routine maintenance and servicing of agricultural equipment, including lubrication, checking and maintaining fluid levels, and making minor mechanical adjustments. Employment is seasonal and tied to field preparation, planting, crop care, harvest, and post-harvest equipment cleaning and storage. The employer provides structured training, and no formal education or prior agricultural employment is required. Workers must follow safety protocols, perform assigned duties satisfactorily, and comply with workplace standards throughout the contract period. Employees will be provided with adequate breaks, including meal and rest periods, consistent with applicable Federal, State, and local law, during the course of each workday. Job Classification: 45-2091.00 - Agricultural Equipment Operators Experience Required: No Special Requirements: No experience is required. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion. Operator License Class D Candidate will have 60 days to obtain. Skill Level I Entry Level Pursuant to the Interim Final Rule (IFR) implementing the new four-level wage system for H-2A occupations, the employer designates this position as Skill Level I Entry Level, indicating that the job requires limited experience and routine supervision consistent with entry-level duties. The employer reserves the right to withhold the applicable housing deduction as permitted under program regulations, when approved and disclosed in the job order. Number of Hours Per Week: 50 Work Schedule (Start/End time): 7:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.
