What Were Looking For
- Minimum 2 years experience at Sous Chef level
- Proven experience in a busy 4-star hotel kitchen
- A confident leader who can step up when the Head Chef is away
- Strong knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen compliance
- Organised, reliable, and calm under pressure
- A genuine passion for fresh, seasonal food and menu innovation
Key Responsibilities
- Training and mentoring chefs across all sections
- Assisting the Head Chef with GP management
- Creating and managing the kitchen & KP rota
- Organising daily food and function prep
- Ordering and stock control
- Collaborating with the Head Chef on menu planning
- Leading the kitchen and resolving issues in the Head Chefs absence
- Keeping all EHO paperwork up to date
- Regularly updating the specials board with new dishes
