Event Manager and Organiser

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Event Organiser to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a flair for creating memorable experiences. This role involves planning, coordinating, and executing various events, ensuring that every detail is meticulously managed from conception to completion. The Event Organiser will work closely with clients to understand their vision and deliver exceptional service while managing logistics, budgets, and timelines. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to define event objectives, themes, and requirements.
• Plan and coordinate all aspects of events including venue selection, catering, entertainment, and logistics.
• Manage budgets effectively while exploring opportunities for upselling services to enhance the event experience.
• Liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of services and materials.
• Oversee the setup and breakdown of events, ensuring all elements are executed according to plan.
• Provide excellent guest services during events, addressing any issues that may arise promptly and professionally.
• Maintain strong organisational skills to manage multiple events simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
• Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and improve future events.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in event planning or hospitality management is preferred.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with clients and stakeholders confidently.
• Familiarity with fundraising initiatives is a plus for charity-related events.
• Previous experience in restaurant or hotel environments is advantageous.
• A keen eye for detail and a creative mindset to bring unique ideas to life.
• Ability to work flexible hours as required by event schedules.
