Architectural Technologist / Technician

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Architectural Technician or Technologist to join our team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on designs for both Residential and smaller Commercial projects. The role is paid, Visa Sponsorship can be provided if required, and is ideal for individuals passionate about architecture and construction. Duties

• Develop detailed technical drawings and plans using CAD software such as AutoCAD.
• Preferred but not essential: 3D models and visualisations employing SketchUp, Rhinoceros 3D, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Assist in the preparation of construction documents, specifications, and presentation materials.
• Attend when meeting with builders and engineers on site to ensure design accuracy and compliance with building regulations.
• Support project management activities by organising schedules, tracking progress, and maintaining documentation.
• Support Property management, sales and lettings, post completion.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with CAD programmes including AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of architectural principles, construction processes, and building regulations - can be learnt afterwards.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of project management practices within an architectural or construction environment is advantageous.
• Prior experience or education in architecture, civil engineering, or related fields is preferred but not essential, as long as the individual is willing to learn.
