Position Title: Metal Fabricator (Boilermaker Welder)SBS Engineering is a locally owned business specialising in Fixed Plant & Mobile Plant Equipment.As a result of the company’s continuous growth, we are looking for experienced Metal Fabricators (Boilermakers/Welders) to join our team in the Goldfields. The Role: Fabrication & Assembly, Metalworking, Maintenance & Repair. The position includes working on site, attending breakdowns and working in the workshop. 

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
• Cutting, bending and shaping metal components
• Assembling and welding fabricated parts
• Conducting quality checks to ensure compliance with specifications
• Performing routine maintenance on fabrication machinery

Experience & Qualification Requirements:

• Australian Recognised Trade Certificate III or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 3 years full time experience as a Metal Fabricator
• National Police Certificate
• Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical & Drug and Alcohol Screen
• Construction White Card
• Working at Heights Certification < 2 years
• Confined Space Certification < 2 years
• Valid Australian Drivers Licence
• Strong safety focus and commitment to team values
