Job Description:
A family is looking for a live in caregiver for their autistic child. The family has three children. LMIA will be provided if required.Mostly preparing food, lunches, helping the kids get ready for school, and general operation of the household. The oldest is autistic, so it would also be a caregiver for him so I can get some time away. Cooking, cleaning, and general helping duties to assist the family.Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for clients by assisting with daily activities and ensuring a safe and clean living environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in home care settings, including nursing homes or assisted living facilities, and possess strong caregiving skills. Duties
  • Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
  • Help with meal preparation, ensuring dietary needs are met.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Assist with mobility and transportation needs, including heavy lifting if necessary.
  • Monitor clients’ health status and report any changes to family members or healthcare professionals.
  • Support clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and encourage independence where possible.
  • Provide care for individuals with disabilities or those requiring hospice care.

Qualifications
  • Previous experience in home care, nursing homes, or assisted living environments is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of caregiving principles and practices.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by client needs.
  • Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
  • Knowledge of meal preparation and dietary restrictions is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently while following care plans set by healthcare professionals.
  • Certification in caregiving or related fields is an advantage but not mandatory.
