Job Description:
We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst to act as the vital bridge between complex business objectives and high-performing engineering teams; 482 Visa sponsorship is available for the right candidate. This is a highly technical BA role, you won’t just be writing user stories; you will be analysing API specifications, documenting data flows, and ensuring our client's transition to AI-integrated cloud systems is seamless.
📋 Core Responsibilities
  • Requirements Engineering: Elicit and document technical requirements, translating "business speak" into detailed functional and technical specifications (BRDs, FSDs).
  • Technical Interface Analysis: Analyse and document system integrations, API contracts (REST/GraphQL), and data mapping requirements.
  • Agile Delivery: Manage the product backlog in Jira/Confluence, facilitating sprint planning, grooming sessions, and UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
  • Data & AI Readiness: Work with Data Engineers to define data lineage and quality requirements, ensuring systems are prepared for AI/ML integration.
  • Process Modelling: Map complex "As-Is" and "To-Be" business processes using BPMN 2.0 or UML.
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage expectations across a diverse group of stakeholders, from C-suite executives to backend developers.
  • System Optimisation: Identify opportunities for process optimisation and automation within the existing technical landscape.


✅ Technical Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years as a Business Analyst, with at least 3 years in a heavy Technical/IT environment.
  • Technical Literacy: Ability to read and understand code (SQL, Python, or Java) and analyse JSON/XML structures.
  • Tools Mastery: Expert proficiency in Jira, Confluence, Lucidchart, or Visio.
  • Cloud Knowledge: Familiarity with Azure or AWS ecosystems and how cloud-native applications function.
  • Methodologies: Deep understanding of Agile, Scrum, and DevOps practices.
