As a Podiatrist, you will diagnose and treat various conditions affecting the lower extremities, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive care tailored to their individual needs.
Duties- Conduct thorough examinations of patients' feet and ankles to diagnose conditions.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for various podiatric ailments.
- Perform surgical procedures when necessary, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Educate patients on foot health, preventive care, and proper footwear choices.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Stay updated on advancements in podiatric medicine and technology.
Experience- A degree in Podiatry from an accredited institution is required.
- Registered with the appropriate regulatory body
- Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory for newly qualified practitioners.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are essential for effective patient interaction.
- Ability to educate patients about their conditions and treatment options clearly.
- Familiarity with IT systems for patient management and record keeping is advantageous.
