Your Role

Mission: Through accurate, relevant and timely business & financial reporting and analysis, support VP of Business Control and general management in making effective business decisions. To ensure that adequate internal control processes are in place and that Group processes are implemented. To participate in business activities and thereby actively contribute in developing the business in accordance with the strategy and targets. To raise “red flags” to operational and/or holding management whenever compliance with sound business principles are at risk.

Roles and Responsibilities:

GENERAL PURPOSE

  • Responsible for developing and implementing accounting policies, controls and procedures utilized by the company, all financial reporting by the company, operational reporting to local management, government and other external requirements in accordance with the guidelines of the Group. Work with the IT Department to maximize automation of processes, secure company information and reduce functional costs. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESAssure timely processing and accurate reporting of data in line with prescribed deadlines
  • Responsible for the full Customer Center P&L and Balance Sheet
  • Establish internal control procedures and ensure that good controls are tested and functioning properly.
  • Management of the external audit process including schedule preparation and final reporting.
  • Provide pertinent information/reports for use by all levels of management.
  • Safeguard and manage fixed asset records as required.
  • Establish and implement proper Prokura procedures for the Company.
  • Ensure accounting processes are organized, documented and adhered to for all accounting processes within the organization.
  • Give Support to other departments within the product company in the of business control.
  • Ensure that the People Management and Development requirements of this position are in conformity to the Atlas Copco policies & procedures.
  • Manage the personnel within the accounting department and Financial Analyst.
  • Ensure that the company’s Balance Sheet is properly reconciled, and that working capital is well managed.
  • Maintain proper cost center structure to support effective functional costs analysis and cost allocation between divisions.
  • Develop and maintain daily and monthly reporting tools, including sales, margin and working capital etc.
  • Act on behalf of peer group members in their absence as and when called upon to do so either by design or by circumstance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • To succeed, you will need Experience:Five to seven years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in SAP is preferred.



Education: Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.

Skills:

Communication Responsibilities: 1. Communicate Administrative activities and work together to grow our business.

2. Prepare necessary information for Business Review and Board meetings.

3. Communicate Regional Store issues to all relevant departments within the company for process improvement, and provide additional support as required.

Training & Skill Development:

1. Maintain a high level of accounting knowledge (FAM, IFRS and GAAP) with the capacity to develop a solid understanding of our products, the market, the sales process and how these processes work within the structural regulatory framework established within FAM.

Qualifications

Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervise a team of 4-5 employees within the accounting and business control functions.

Travel: This position may require occasional travel.
