Your Role and Responsibilities: As an HVAC Technician for Transdev, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of our Bus Fleet.
This includes: - Performing scheduled maintenance task for refrigeration, air conditioning & electrical equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections of all air conditioning and refrigeration equipment.
- To ensure the Safety and Efficient operation of all Transdev Bus Fleets refrigeration & air conditioning.
- Operate a range of equipment and tools in order to undertake vehicle maintenance such as diagnostic computers/tools, multimeters, load testing, lifting and materials handling equipment.
The Talent you bring & What we need from you: - Current Restricted Australian Electrical License or Unrestricted (essential requirement)
- Australian recognised Trade Certificate in Refrigeration/HVAC or similar trade
- Experience in Bus maintenance and Public transport operations (desirable).
- Experience in Electric vehicles or willingness to learn
- Current HR license (or current C class license and have the ability to get an HR license)
- Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment Medical/Drug & Alcohol Screening
- Must be able to provide a Valid Police Check/Traffic check
- Computer literacy with the ability to record accurate maintenance information.
