About the Role A leading Australian infrastructure contractor is currently seeking experienced Transmission Linesmen to join their expanding team. These full-time roles are open to qualified overseas applicants, with visa sponsorship available for suitable candidates.
The ideal candidates will bring strong experience in transmission and distribution networks, particularly working on live lines and towers up to 500kV. In addition to linework, the role requires flexibility to support civil and electrical tasks as needed on-site.

Key Responsibilities
- Work on high-voltage transmission lines (up to 500kV)
- Perform tower erection, conductor stringing, tensioning, and termination
- Carry out distribution linework (overhead and underground)
- Install underground conduits and cables
- Support broader civil and electrical tasks outside core duties
About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience in transmission and distribution linework
- Ability to work on live-line systems and tower structures
- Strong rigging, stringing, and tensioning capabilities
- Experience in underground cable and conduit installation
- A proactive and flexible work ethic with a strong safety mindset
- Excellent English communication skills (first-language speakers preferred)
Licensing & Certifications (Required or Willing to Obtain):
- Australian White Card (construction safety)
- Australian Tower Rescue Certification
- High-Risk Work Licences: Dogging, Rigging, EWP
