Digital Consultant
Progress your data analysis and digital consulting skills, working with an experienced & diverse team of digital consultants and data analysts
Broad role, working on projects across different industries, clients (internal and external, technologies, and solutions where your data analysis and consulting skills will be developed)

Our Digital team works with both external and internal clients, helping them solve complex and often unique problems to make every day better. We use Beca’s century of experience in engineering, advisory and design to help our clients shape communities, optimise their assets and streamline their operations. We are seeing growth in demand for digital services, while accelerating our internal digital transformation, helping teams across the business to grow their market-led services and drive internal innovation.
Our Digital Consultant roles are varied, dynamic and rewarding. You will be working with a motivated team of consultants with a wide range of skills and experience. Examples of typical project roles include:
Analysis and visualisation of complex datasets
Creation & maintenance of dashboards
Supporting the development of digital solutions to client problems (including stakeholder engagement, requirements elicitation, solution development and delivery)
Solution development and deployment using Beca’s digital products (https://www.beca.com/ignite-your-thinking/in-focus/digital-transformation)
This role should enable you to develop your technical knowledge, consulting skills and project experience by working on a wide range of projects across our operating regions, particularly those requiring data analytics services and digital solutions.

Your background or qualifications may be in computer science, statistical analysis, data management, economics, finance, government, consulting, engineering, or software development. We encourage you to apply if this sounds like you:

Ability to build relationships and collaborate with people from diverse backgrounds and skillsets.
Critical thinker who can identify opportunity and bring clarity to complex problems.
Experience using data visualisation tools such as Power BI or similar
Experience in data management and data analysis languages such as SQL, Python or R or similar.
Experience applying statistical analysis, machine learning or data science to find business insights.
Experience in the use of Azure cloud services and the Microsoft stack for data management and analysis e.g., Power BI, Data Factory, Synapse.
