Junior O2C Specialist to join our growing Finance Operations team in Porto. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a foundation in accounting who are eager to grow their career and gain hands-on exposure to global Order-to-Cash processes within a dynamic and impactful medical technology environment. This role is
onsite in Porto.
Key Responsibilities The Junior O2C Specialist will support the end-to-end Order-to-Cash process, focusing on ensuring timely and accurate transactions from order entry to cash collection.
- Process customer orders received via email/inquiries accurately and in a timely manner.
- Generate invoices and credit notes, ensuring full compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Perform daily cash application and reconciliation of customer payments.
- Monitor Accounts Receivable (AR) aging reports and actively follow up with French-speaking customers for overdue invoices.
- Support the resolution of simple customer queries and efficiently escalate complex disputes to the appropriate internal teams.
- Assist in reconciliations, month-end & quarter-end closing procedures, and external audit requirements.
- Maintain updated customer master data in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
Requirements Education & Experience - Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
- At least 6 months of experience in Accounts Receivable (AR), O2C, or Finance operations. Candidates with 2-5 years of experience are a plus.
- Solid knowledge of fundamental accounting and finance principles.
Skills & Attributes - Strong command of French (C1/C2 Level – spoken and written) is mandatory to support the French market.
- Advanced English proficiency (C1 Level) is required for internal communication.
- Good analytical skills and proficiency in MS Excel (familiarity with V-lookups and Pivot Tables is preferred).
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/NetSuite) is a plus.
- Exceptional customer service orientation and a highly detail-oriented approach with the ability to effectively multitask.
