Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center seeks a full-time, board certified/board eligible Pediatric Anesthesiologist to join our dynamic anesthesia service in Bangor, Maine. Our pediatric surgical service averages over 600 operative cases per year and provides care for a variety of pediatric cases including: Dental, ENT, orthopedics and scoliosis repair, acute surgery and neonatal emergencies. In addition to pediatric cases, our highly skilled physician group provides anesthesia coverage for a broad spectrum of surgical cases including orthopedics, robotics, neurosurgery, urology, bariatrics, thoracic, vascular, and OB/GYN. Practice Highlights: M-F standard work week 1:6 Call, no 24-hour in-house call 41 days PTO Team of 14 highly skilled physicians; fellowship trained pediatric and cardiac anesthesiologists compliment the group Medically directed anesthesia care team model Tight knit physician group grounded in teamwork Modernized operating rooms, endovascular hybrid operating rooms, and state of the art interventional/electrophysiology procedure rooms Newly acquired pediatric Storz airway equipment in our ORs and NICU to ensure that our anesthesiologists have ready access to the necessary tools to safely address pediatric and neonatal airway needs Northern Light pediatric anesthesiologists work closely and collaboratively with our two pediatric surgeons, pediatric orthopedist and extensive pediatric support teams, including Inpatient Pediatrics, PICU, NICU, Peds GI, Peds Cardiology, to coordinate safe, high-quality care for our tiniest patients. Our neonatologists accompany neonates to our pediatric surgical service which continues to have significant growth potential.
