This is an exciting opportunity to join the skilled team at A ONE ROOF RESTORATION as a Painter/Roof Restoration Offsider. Working full-time out of our Bracken Ridge location, you will play a crucial supporting role in the delivery of high-quality PAINTING work along with roof restoration services to our clients.What you'll be doing

• Tasks Include:
  • erecting scaffolding and ladders, and placing drop sheets to protect adjacent areas from paint splattering
  • preparing surfaces by removing old paint and wallpaper, fixing woodwork, filling holes and cracks, and smoothing and sealing surfaces
  • selecting and preparing paints to required colours by mixing portions of pigment, oil, and thinning and drying additives
  • applying paints, varnishes and stains to surfaces using brushes, rollers and sprays
  • hanging wallpaper, matching patterns and trimming edges
  • cleaning equipment and work areas
  • may repair windows and replace glass in wooden and metal frames
  • may lay and repair wall and floor tiles
  • EnsuriProviding support in the transportation and handling of materials to and from job sitesng work areas are kept clean, tidy, and compliant with health and safety regulations
  • Safely operating and maintaining equipment and tools required for roof restoration projects
  • Collaborating with the team to deliver a seamless and efficient roof restoration service for our clients

What we're looking for

• Some previous experience in a building trades or construction role, preferably in a PAINTING and roof restoration or similar field
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to take direction and work collaboratively
• Physical fitness and the capability to perform manual labour tasks at heights
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
• A valid driver's licence and the ability to travel to different job sites as required
