Post Summary: The primary purpose of this post is to contribute to general and shared nursing teaching within the undergraduate degree programme in nursing in the School. The successful applicant will demonstrate a commitment to teaching and will have engaged in scholarly activities. Furthermore, they will be able to undertake academic administrative work. While they will primarily contribute to the undergraduate programme, they will also undertake postgraduate teaching, supervision and mentoring as designated by the Head of School.
Context: The school requires a candidate to contribute to, and grow, the teaching activity primarily within the general and shared areas of the nursing and midwifery programmes. The candidate will help to support and develop existing curricula at undergraduate and postgraduate levels across programmes. The successful candidate will require a depth of knowledge relevant to general and shared nursing.
Person Requirements The role-holder will require the following knowledge, skills and attributes for successful performance in the role.

Post status: 3 Year Fixed-Term Contract Salary: This appointment will be made on the Teaching Fellow Merged Pay Scale Annual Rate (€42,500 -€54,139 pro-rata) at a point in line with current Government pay policy. https://www.tcd.ie/hr/assets/pdf/monthly-academic.pdf Hours of work for academic staff are those as prescribed under Public Service Agreements.
