TRAINER - Aged Care & Community Services

Federation Academy delivers nationally recognised courses in Cairns and is currently seeking qualified trainers for the advertised role. About the role:
We're seeking a passionate individuals to join as a trainer / tutor in Cairns to deliver Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care / Disability) & Diploma of Community Services. You'll be part of a growing organisation with a strong interest to produce job-ready graduates in your area of expertise. As a trainer you will be responsible to deliver & assess learners according to the session plan, submit complete student work on a term to term basis and participate in validation activities. Industry applicants will be trained in necessary procedures to meet various regulatory requirements Duties and Responsibilities

• Efficient and effective delivery of the curriculum as per the session plan.
• Participate in assessment validation activities.
• Monitoring student academic progress & attendance
• Responsible for effective communication between staff and students.

• Commit to ongoing professional development and maintain industry currency in your relevant field.

Preferred Selection Criteria

• Prefer the candidate to hold a TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, however if not, the applicant must be enrolled in it.
• Hold a qualification at least equal to the level being delivered and assessed
• Preferred relevant industry working experience
• Preferred any form of training experience
• Good presentation, communication and organisational skills
