Heavy Vehicle / Bus Mechanic | Visa Sponsorship + Accommodation | 2:1 Roster

Location: Karratha, WA (Residential Role)

Looking to relocate to Western Australia with visa sponsorship and a structured 2:1 roster?

We are recruiting for a well-established transport and mining support business based in Karratha. This is a residential position offering a structured roster, varied work, and long-term career opportunities.
  • Visa sponsorship available (482 pathway)
  • 2:1 roster with accommodation provided
  • Work across a diverse fleet in a mining and transport environment

What is on offer

The role
  • Service, maintenance and repair across a varied fleet including buses, coaches, prime movers, light vehicles, cranes and small plant
  • Diagnostics and fault finding across multiple vehicle types
  • Preventative maintenance and breakdown response
  • Working within a regional / mining environment
  • Maintaining high safety and compliance standards

Fleet & equipment exposure
Gain exposure to a broad and diverse fleet, including:
  • Cummins engines
  • Allison transmissions
  • Volvo
  • Mercedes-Benz
  • BCI
  • Yutong

This role offers excellent variety and is ideal for mechanics looking to expand their experience across multiple vehicle types.
About you
  • Trade qualified Heavy Vehicle / Diesel Mechanic
  • Experience working on buses, coaches or heavy vehicles
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Comfortable working across a varied fleet
  • Able to work in a regional or remote environment
  • Reliable with a strong work ethic
  • Committed to long-term employment
  • Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening

Additional requirements
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Relevant trade qualification (essential)
