Cook Position – The Bremer Bay Resort Restaurant Bremer Bay, Western AustraliaWe are seeking an experienced and dedicated Cook to join our culinary team at
The Bremer Bay Resort. We are located 5 1/2 hours south-east of Perth on the Southern Coast. Our restaurant caters to both local patrons and tourists, offering breakfast, lunch and dinner daily.
Key Duties:Preparing, cooking and presenting food to a high standard.Managing kitchen inventory and ensuring efficient stock levels.Adhering strictly to portion control guidelines.Ordering, receiving and managing food supplies.Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards of the kitchen area.Assisting in menu planning and preparation of special dishes for events and tours.Training junior kitchen staff.Communicating effectively with front of kitchen staff, restaurant manager and office staff.Reporting directly to the Head Chef and Management team.
Essential Requirements:Relevant qualifications in Commercial Cookery (Cert 3 or above).Minimum two years’ full-time experience in a similar role.Excellent organisational and time management skills.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.Commitment to professional standards and work ethics.
