Job Title: Food Service Supervisor Location: Toronto (On-Site) Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: $18.50 – $20.00 per hour
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor on behalf of our client, a fast-food restaurant in Toronto. The successful candidate will oversee daily operations, lead and support team members, maintain food quality and safety standards, ensure customer satisfaction, and optimize overall efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Team Management

• Supervise, train, and mentor staff.
• Create and manage work schedules to ensure smooth operations.
• Provide ongoing performance feedback.

Customer Service Excellence

• Ensure prompt, professional, and friendly service.
• Handle inquiries and resolve customer complaints effectively.

Food Quality & Safety

• Enforce food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance.

Operational Efficiency

• Manage inventory, supplies, and cost control.
• Optimize workflows and improve service efficiency.

Training & Development

• Provide thorough onboarding for new employees.
• Promote ongoing learning and professional growth.

Administrative Tasks

• Maintain accurate production, quality, and operations reports.

Work Schedule

• 8-hour shifts (day, evening, and morning)
• Monday to Friday, with weekend availability required

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 6 months of Food & Beverage industry experience (for candidates inside Canada)
• Minimum 3 years of Food & Beverage industry experience (for candidates outside Canada)
• English proficiency (minimum CLB 6)
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Proficiency with technology used in food service operations
