Bilingual Japanese/English Accounting Manager (Food Manufacturing) (CA/YM)

A food manufacturing company is seeking a Bilingual Japanese/English Accounting Manager to join their team in Garden Grove, CA. This position is responsible for overseeing organizational systems for gathering data, analyzing information, confirming the accuracy of all financial reports, and providing recommendations for improving accounting methods. A bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration, 5+ years of accounting in the manufacturing industry, advanced knowledge and experience of U.S. GAAP financial reporting and internal control over financial reporting, knowledge of Federal, State and Local tax laws and regulations, a CPA License, and the ability to speak, read, and write Japanese are required. This is a full-time, exempt, in-person with excellent benefits and 401k. [Work Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8-5pm]**Company is able to support E-Visa, H1B Visa**Bilingual Japanese/English Accounting Manager Duties:
-Oversee, direct, and monitor all accounting department activities.
-Work closely with the General Manager to maintain smooth operation of accounting and any other departments.
-Provide financial information to executives timely and accurately.
-Provide Consolidated Financial reporting to Corporate HQ monthly as well as other requested reporting.
-Ensuring that all accounting processes align with GAAP and current financial legislation.
-Manage any third parties to which accounting or finance functions are outsourced.
-Manage the company’s financial accounts, payrolls, budget, cash receipts and financial assets.
-Manage, prepare, and monitor the general ledger, financial reports, budgetary reports and forecast in accordance with annual strategic operating plans.
-Negotiate and arrange the funding requirement with financial institutions.
-Monitor all tax related compliance matters.
-Monitor credit risks with customers and suppliers.
-Oversee external & internal audit process.
-Monitor required authorization processes (approval process) in accordance with the company’s authorization policy and procedures.
-Hiring, training, and motivating accounting staff members while supervising and delegating department tasks.Bilingual Japanese/English Accounting Manager Skills:
-Must have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration
-Must be able to speak, read, and write Japanese
-Must have 5+ years of accounting in the manufacturing industry
-Must have knowledge and experience of U.S. GAAP financial reporting and internal control over financial reporting
-Must have knowledge of Federal, State and Local tax laws and regulations
-Must have CPA license
-Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software and databases
