Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated
Operations Engineer to support and manage enterprise vendor applications, perform configuration and deployment activities, and provide infrastructure-level troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have experience in application support, production operations, incident management, and Windows server environments, with a strong focus on system reliability, performance, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Support, maintain, and manage vendor applications and packaged software solutions.
- Perform application configuration, setup, upgrades, and environment management activities.
- Monitor and support production environments to ensure system availability and operational stability.
- Handle system-level operations including deployments, releases, and incident resolution.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure-related issues across Windows server and network environments.
- Collaborate with development teams, infrastructure teams, and third-party vendors to resolve technical issues.
- Assist in root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures for recurring incidents.
- Support operational processes, change management, and release activities.
- Learn and support Formscape templates and Drools rules engine configurations.
- Ensure compliance with SLAs, operational standards, and security policies.
- Contribute to automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills- Experience in Application Support, Production Support, or Operations Engineering roles.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments and networking fundamentals.
- Experience with application configuration, deployment, and environment management.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve production incidents effectively.
- Understanding of monitoring, incident management, and support processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Skills- Knowledge of Drools Rules Engine.
- Experience with Formscape or similar document/template management tools.
- Basic scripting or automation experience (PowerShell, Batch, Python, etc.).
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and change management practices.
- Exposure to vendor-managed applications and enterprise support environments.
Experience Required- 4+ years of experience in Operations Support, Application Support, or Production Support roles.
