Minister of Religion/Youth pastor

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Youth Pastor to lead and inspire young people within our community. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a genuine desire to mentor youth, and the ability to create engaging programmes that foster spiritual growth. Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging religious programmes, activities, and events tailored for youth groups.
• Provide spiritual guidance and mentorship to young people, fostering a safe and welcoming environment.
• Organise regular meetings, retreats, and outreach initiatives to encourage community involvement.
• Lead by example in demonstrating Christian principles through behaviour, speech, and actions.
• Collaborate with church staff and volunteers to plan and execute youth activities effectively.
• Facilitate discussions on faith-related topics, encouraging open dialogue and critical thinking.
• Support the personal development of youth by offering counselling or pastoral care when necessary.
• Promote positive relationships among youth members through team-building activities and social events.

Qualifications

• Experience in public speaking, teaching, or working with young people is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse age groups.
• A background or interest in dancing or other expressive arts is a plus, enhancing programme diversity.
• Genuine passion for mentoring youth and fostering their spiritual growth.
• Ability to organise activities efficiently while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
• Relevant religious or theological training is advantageous but not essential.
