Occupational Therapists at all levels to join our multidisciplinary team in Taupo.
About the role... In this role, you’ll manage a varied clinical caseload and deliver high-quality, best-practice occupational therapy services across community, workplace, and clinic settings. You’ll work autonomously while being well supported by an experienced, collaborative team. You’ll assess clients, develop meaningful rehabilitation plans, and work closely with funders, whānau, and other health professionals to achieve great outcomes.
A day in the life... - Assess clients to determine the appropriate treatment plan or recommendations based on sound clinical reasoning
- Deliver personalised solutions for rehabilitation services and products, seamlessly linking with other co-workers to deliver an integrated customer experience
- Utilising "Heidi", our automated note-taking software, to produce high-quality clinical documents and reports
- Engaging with ACC and other external stakeholders to ensure contractual obligations are met
- Supervise graduates and support training and quality initiatives (experienced hires only)
The successful candidate will have... - A recognised Occupational Therapy qualification
- Current APC and registration in New Zealand
- Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
- A client-centred, solutions-focused mindset
- Full NZ driver's licence
