Infrastructure System Engineer

~~~~EU-27 security clearance~~~ LEVEL OF EDUCATION Level of education corresponding to Level 7 of the European Qualification Framework which typically corresponds to a bachelor’s level or 3 years of higher education. SPECIFIC EXPERTISE

• Knowledge of audio-visual Automation system.
• Good knowledge of web applications, apps back-end applications, infrastructure script, communication protocol, or other development area, as required to perform the specified tasks on our Automation eco-system.
• Good knowledge of Java (JEE) and .Net frameworks required to perform the tasks.
• Good knowledge in Atlassian collaboration suite and experience with Jira, bitbucket and confluence at least as required to perform the tasks required in our MERASE project.
• Knowledge of relational database management.
• Experience in component-based and service-oriented applications development or configuration.
• Understanding modelling languages or tools (e.g. UML).

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• Knowledge of audio-visual automation systems (e.g. AMX, Crestron or equivalent systems).
• Knowledge of the Windows or Linux based operating system in the versions used in the Commission.
• Knowledge of writing technical and end-user documentation
• ITIL knowledge
• Ability to apply high quality standards.
• Ability to work with ticketing system.
• Very good communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences
• Analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Capability to write clear and structured technical documents.
• Ability to participate in technical meetings and good communication skills.
