About the RoleWe’re searching for a skilled and motivated
Head Chef who is ready to take ownership of the kitchen and play a key role in our restaurant’s ongoing success. You’ll be responsible for:
- Leading all kitchen operations with confidence and professionalism
- Designing and executing a seasonally-changing French-inspired menu
- Managing stock, supplier relationships, and food cost controls
- Upholding high standards of cleanliness, safety, and kitchen organisation
- Mentoring and developing a small, close-knit team of chefs
- Collaborating with ownership to ensure a seamless front- and back-of-house experience

About YouTo thrive in this role, you’ll need to be passionate, organised, and a natural leader. You’ll ideally bring:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a quality-driven restaurant
- A background in French or European cuisine and seasonal cooking
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a small team
- A calm, hands-on approach and excellent communication skills
- High standards of food quality, consistency, and hygiene
- A genuine passion for hospitality and a desire to be part of something special
- Full Australian working rights or eligibility for sponsorship
