Job Description:
Family Physician - Mission, BC
We are seeking a dedicated Family Physician to join a well-established clinic in Mission, British Columbia. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a longitudinal family medicine and walk-in hybrid model, with full administrative and billing support so you can focus on patient care.
🏥 Clinic & Team
Support from experienced MOAs
Care model: Longitudinal family practice + walk-in hybrid
Full admin and billing support provided
🕒 Work Schedule
Clinic hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM (flexible)
Evenings/weekends: Optional
On-call: None
Telemedicine: Optional (in-clinic or from home)
👨👩👧👦 Patient Demographics & Volume
High-demand area: 30-50 patients/day (set your own pace)
Diverse patient population: seniors, young families, and multicultural community
💼 Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive primary care to patients across all age groups
Diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions
Order and interpret diagnostic tests
Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
Perform minor procedures where applicable
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
Maintain accurate and timely medical records in accordance with regulatory requirements
Participate in preventative health care initiatives and patient education
💰 Compensation & Perks
Remuneration: Fee-for-service (bill MSP directly)
Immigration support available
$10,000 relocation assistance
✅ Qualifications
Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree and completion of a Family Medicine Residency
Certification: CCFP certification or eligible
Licensure: Active or eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC)
