Recognized as a Great Place to Work for four consecutive years, they blend real-time computer vision, deep learning, and 3D imaging with high-precision laser systems to create next-generation treatment solutions.
This is a player-coach role reporting directly to the CTO. You will lead and grow a team of electronics engineers while also contributing hands-on to the design of safety-critical systems. You will drive the electronics architecture, guide design reviews, and mentor engineers, all while collaborating cross-functionally with software, optics, mechanical, and systems teams. Relocation assistance and immigration support are available for the right candidate.
What you will own:
  • Leadership and development of a growing electronics engineering team
  • Technical roadmap for electronics architecture and system integration
  • Hands-on FPGA and/or analog/mixed-signal design contribution
  • Design review processes, documentation standards, and compliance workflows
  • Cross-functional collaboration to ensure system-level performance and reliability
  • Continuous improvement initiatives and engineering mentorship culture
  • Regulatory, verification, and risk management support (FMEA, ISO 14971)

What you must have:
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical, Biomedical, or related engineering field
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in electronics design for medical or high-reliability systems
  • Proven track record leading and mentoring engineers or small teams
  • Strong technical depth in analog/mixed-signal design (low-noise, safety-critical systems) and/or FPGA/digital design (specification through verification)
  • Familiarity with embedded firmware and communication interfaces
  • Understanding of regulatory and safety-critical design standards
  • A strategic mindset paired with a hands-on approach to design execution
  • Startup mentality: adaptive, collaborative, and ready to scale with the team
