We are looking for a Clinical Counsellor to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals in providing holistic, patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and provide therapy to individuals dealing with a range of psychological concerns, including trauma, stress, and emotional distress.
• Collaborate closely with medical doctors, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care for each patient.
• Communicate with ICBC/insurance companies to facilitate patients’ claims and treatment plans.
• Write clear, concise initial and discharge reports for ICBC claims, ensuring thorough documentation of patient progress.
• Maintain accurate patient records, updating them regularly, and submit as required.

What We’re Looking For:

• A Clinical Counsellor in good standing with a Provincial Licensing body, holding professional liability insurance with full coverage.
• Proficiency in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).
• A team-oriented individual who is energetic, self-motivated, and thrives in a collaborative environment.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work seamlessly with patients, insurance companies, and the rest of the healthcare team.
• Open-minded and eager to learn – we value humility and a willingness to grow professionally.
• Experience with ICBC cases is a strong asset, but not required.
• Proficiency in a second language (e.g., Korean, Mandarin, or Cantonese) is an asset but not mandatory.
