About the business and the roleWater's Edge Restaurant located in Parkes ACT at the edge of Lake burley Griffin. The Restaurant offer complete range of Europeon and modern Australian fine dining style food and Beverages to the guests. The location of the Restaurant make it perfect for all occasions. Currently we are hiring 2 x Chef/Cook for our Business.Job tasks and responsibilitiesThe Role involves cooking top quality Fine Dining food at top of standard. It forms part of 4 person  kitchen team working 5 days a week, split shift roster covering nights and weekends. Your Overall responsibility is to  work physically in the team and work at least one section of the kitchen Physically.Skills and experienceWe are looking for and accomplished all-rounder. Someone who is capable of maintain food wastage lower while providing top of standard Europeon style well presented dishes.The successful candidate will be trade qualified, hold cert III in commercial cookery or better and have minimum of 2 year experience in modern Australian or Europeon Fine dining Cuisine. Preference will be given to candidate with successful  Chef de Partie or Cook experience and someone who can start after ACT lockdown restriction  over..Job benefits and perksAbove award wages will be paid to successful applicant + superannuation + Annual leaveVisa Sponsorship available to right candidate.
