Restaurant Manager

Mobil Guthalungra, a bustling highway truck stop and popular food destination in Queensland, is seeking an experienced and energetic Café & Restaurant Manager to lead our dining operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to manage a thriving venue that caters to both locals and road travellers in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with kitchen staff to develop and refine diverse, high-quality menus.
• Plan and execute functions, group bookings, and seasonal promotions.
• Oversee supplier management, stock control, and ordering in line with budgets.
• Maintain accurate records for sales, rosters, stock levels, and operational reporting.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety, hygiene, and WHS regulations.
• Deliver excellent customer service by engaging with guests and resolving concerns promptly.
• Lead, mentor, and manage front-of-house and kitchen teams.
• Support daily operations including table service, bookings, and peak-hour assistance.
• Monitor business performance and implement strategies for improvement.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a management role within the hospitality sector.
• Strong organisational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume setting.

Salary: $70,000 to $80,000
