It’s no surprise it has become the 'go to' for both locals and tourists from far and wide. With its brand-new high-quality kitchen, fully renovated bar, and gaming room alongside our awesome team, there is nothing not to love about this place. We are now looking for an Assistant Venue Manager to join our dynamic team, supporting the GM in leading our passionate team.

The Role

• Work alongside the GM to ensure exceptional standards of service and venue management
• Engage with staff and customers, always fostering a fun, and a professional and positive work environment
• You will run shifts and be involved in all components of pub operations, doing it all with a smile on your face.
• You will help manage all components of staff management - from recruitment through to training and shift management
• You will have an unpretentious attitude, great communication skills, and a naturally friendly and engaging personality

The Expectation

• You will have a sound knowledge and love of the Pub & Hospitality scene
• An extensive knowledge and passion for all things beverage - beer, cocktails, spirits and wine
• You will have a minimum of 5 years’ recent experience in a similar role
• RSA and RCG qualifications - or the ability to obtain
• Understanding of current Liquor and Gaming Regulations
• Effective communication & interpersonal skills
• Ability to work and communicate effectively
• Good time management & organisational skills
• The ability to manage the venue autonomously in the absence of the owner
• You will be a natural leader and inspire those you are working with
