Job description: We are looking for a consultant who will be focused on implementing, configuring, and supporting the "Financial Accounting" (FI) and Controlling (CO) module within the primarily responsible for managing a company's financial transactions. Role Description: This is a hybrid role with very limited on-site requirements. It is a team member who reports to the FI/CO Architect and Project Manager. The role is for a Senior FI/CO team member to address shortcomings in existing FI/CO functionality within an existing SAP ERP (ECC 6) implementation. The core focus is to improve the collection of data from transactions to provide accurate Profitability analysis.
Responsibilities - Work closely with the FI/CO Architect and the Project Manager to support the implementation and setup of the SAP Finance and Controlling modules by reviewing and collecting business requirements, designing effective solutions, and coordinating with the project schedule.
- Customize SAP Finance/Controlling functionalities to align with organizational needs and industry best practices
- Provide knowledge in SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling (FI/CO), including General Ledger, EBS (Electronic Bank Statement processing) Accounts Receivable &, Accounts Payable, Intercompany settlement, Cost Element Accounting, CO-PA, CO-PC, and Profit Center Accounting
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to optimize financial processes and reporting within SAP developing reports within CO-PA and PCA.
- Develop and implement testing plans to ensure the quality and integrity of SAP Finance and Controlling solutions
- Train end-users on SAP Finance and Controlling functionalities and ensure adoption across the organization
Qualifications : - Understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
- Must have Expertise in SAP FI module functionalities, including AR, AP, GL, and sub-ledgers
- 10+ years SAP FI/CO Experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams. MUST HAVE Proficient English language skills
- Experience in business process mapping and documentation
- Ability to configure and customize SAP FI/CO based on client requirements but within a best practices framework.
Required: - Bachelor’s Degree Accounting
- SAP certification in Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules
