Hiring: Senior Network Engineer

Location: Philadelphia, PA (Onsite)

Job Type: Long Term Contract

We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer (15+ years of experience) with strong enterprise networking and firewall expertise to join a large-scale environment. This position is with our direct client. H1B accepted.

Key Requirements (MUST HAVE)

15+ years of enterprise network engineering experience

Strong hands-on expertise in Routing BGP and EIGRP

Experience with new network deployments and enterprise design

Proven experience in Firewall migrations from Cisco ASA to Cisco Secure Firewall Threat Defense (FTD)

Hands-on experience with Cisco Secure Firewall (FTD)

Note:

Customers today migrate from Cisco ASA to Cisco Secure Firewall Threat Defense (FTD) this is Cisco s official and recommended upgrade path, supported by automated migration tools. Real migration experience is required.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, install, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls)

Implement and manage network security solutions (ACLs, object groups, firewall policies)

Lead ASA FTD firewall migration projects

Monitor performance and proactively troubleshoot network issues

Perform firmware/software upgrades

Develop engineering design documentation

Follow structured change management processes

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors

Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in IT / Computer Science or related field

Experience In Large-scale Enterprise Or Industrial Environments Preferred

Cisco certifications (CCNP preferred)
