The Opportunity
An opportunity is available for a Staff Specialist Anaesthetist to join a major tertiary teaching hospital offering scale, challenge, and professional momentum. You will deliver anaesthetic care across a wide range of elective and emergency services, supporting complex peri-operative medicine within a busy and well-structured department. This is a large tertiary teaching hospital delivering comprehensive secondary and tertiary services across a broad regional catchment. The anaesthetic department is well established and closely integrated with emergency, critical care, and surgical teams. The Requirements
Applicants will meet one or more of the following criteria:
- Hold or be eligible for Specialist Registration with AHPRA
- Have at least 12 months recent experience working as an Anaesthetist
- Be on the ANZCA training program and approaching Fellowship
- Hold Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA)
- International Medical Graduates eligible for recognised ANZCA pathways, including Competent Authority jurisdictions
- International Medical Graduates with a confirmed ANZCA interview date
- International Medical Graduates already assessed by ANZCA and found to be substantially comparable
