Responsibilities- Plan and deliver comprehensive mathematics lessons aligned with curriculum standards, ensuring accessibility for all students, including those with disabilities.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of learners, including children with special educational needs and toddlers requiring care.
- Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative evaluations, providing constructive feedback to support development.
- Foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages participation, curiosity, and confidence in mathematics.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and support staff to develop personalised learning plans for students with additional needs.
- Incorporate tutoring sessions or extra help for students requiring additional support outside regular class hours.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress reports, and behavioural observations in compliance with school policies.
- Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills, particularly in special education and working with individuals with disabilities.
Experience- Prior experience in teaching mathematics at primary or secondary levels is preferred.
- Experience working with children across different age groups, including toddlers and school-aged pupils.
- Knowledge of special education practices and strategies for working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a collaborative learning environment.
- Experience in tutoring or providing personalised instruction tailored to individual learning styles is advantageous.
