Mathematics Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Mathematics Teacher to join our educational team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging mathematics lessons tailored to students' individual needs, including those with special educational requirements. • Plan and deliver comprehensive mathematics lessons aligned with curriculum standards, ensuring accessibility for all students, including those with disabilities.
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of learners, including children with special educational needs and toddlers requiring care.
• Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative evaluations, providing constructive feedback to support development.
• Foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages participation, curiosity, and confidence in mathematics.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and support staff to develop personalised learning plans for students with additional needs.
• Incorporate tutoring sessions or extra help for students requiring additional support outside regular class hours.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress reports, and behavioural observations in compliance with school policies.
• Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills, particularly in special education and working with individuals with disabilities.

Experience

• Prior experience in teaching mathematics at primary or secondary levels is preferred.
• Experience working with children across different age groups, including toddlers and school-aged pupils.
• Knowledge of special education practices and strategies for working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a collaborative learning environment.
• Experience in tutoring or providing personalised instruction tailored to individual learning styles is advantageous.
