Senior Data Strategy & Migration Lead (Pharma) (m/f/d) About the Role We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Strategy & Migration professional (m/f/d) to take ownership of high-impact data initiatives within the pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors. This is a permanent position suited to someone with strong expertise in data architecture, governance, and migration—especially in regulated environments. The first assignment will involve leading a 6-week data procurement strategy project for a major pharma organization, with opportunities to shape long-term transformation programs. This role is ideal for someone who can bridge technical and business domains, provide thought leadership, and drive measurable outcomes in complex, cross-functional environments.
Key Responsibilities - Act as a trusted advisor on data strategy, governance, and architecture within pharma/life sciences.
- Lead the design and delivery of a 6-week data procurement strategy for a major pharma client.
- Oversee end-to-end data migration and integration initiatives, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Develop enterprise-wide data strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Apply governance best practices with tools such as Collibra and Informatica.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders across IT, business, and data engineering.
- Contribute to knowledge-sharing through documentation, templates, and best practices.
Your Profile - 8+ years of experience in data strategy, architecture, or migration, ideally within pharma or other regulated industries.
- Strong knowledge of pharma/life sciences data domains (R&D, Commercial, Regulatory).
- Proficiency with platforms such as Snowflake, SAP, Veeva, Collibra, Informatica, and IQVIA.
- Proven success delivering both short-term strategies and enterprise-scale transformations.
- Experience working with agile, hybrid, or waterfall delivery models.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent English; German language skills a plus.
