Section Waiter (Front of House) Job DescriptionAs a section waiter, you’re responsible for your own group of tables (“section”) and making sure guests have a smooth, high-quality experience. Core Duties

• Greet and seat guests professionally
• Present menus and explain dishes (especially important in fine dining)
• Take food & drink orders accurately
• Serve food and beverages in the correct order
• Check in with guests during meals
• Handle bills and payments
• Reset and maintain tables
• Work closely with kitchen and bar staff

Extra Responsibilities (Fine Dining like Doju)

• Deep knowledge of menu ingredients (Korean cuisine in this case)
• Wine or beverage recommendations
• High attention to detail (presentation, timing, etiquette)
• Managing multiple tables efficiently
