Job Description:
- Adult Internal Medicine (MD or DO) opportunity for US residents, J-1, or H1B candidates in a federally qualified community health center.
- Eligible for up to $75,000 NHSC Loan Repayment with a two-year service commitment. Newly hired physicians may receive a recruitment incentive up to $10,000, paid in two installments at 6 months and 1 year, contingent on performance and employment continuity.
- Seeking a positive, caring, and motivated physician to oversee diagnostics, treatment plans, medication management, and provide clinical supervision within a fast-paced environment.
- Responsibilities include patient referrals, managing multiple problems, participating in quality initiatives, maintaining medical records, and working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Preferred skills include experience with managed care, community health settings, Medicaid, bilingual Spanish/English, electronic health records, and cultural sensitivity.
- Requirements: medical degree from an accredited school, active Connecticut license, certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine, DEA registration.
