About Our Client

Our Client is a fast-growing SaaS company building high-impact, user-facing digital experiences. Their marketing website is a core growth engine, and they are investing in top-tier frontend talent to raise the bar on design, performance, and execution.

The Role

Our Client is hiring a Senior Frontend / Web Engineer to help lead development of their marketing website. This role is ideal for an engineer who cares deeply about design quality, performance, and shipping polished work, and who wants real ownership over a high-visibility surface.

You will work closely with marketing and design, mentor junior engineers, and directly influence how the company presents itself to the world.

Seniority

5–12 years of experience in software or web engineering

Strong bias toward shipping frequently while maintaining a high bar for quality

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end development of high-traffic marketing and main websites

Partner closely with design and marketing to implement visually ambitious, conversion-focused experiences

Lead frontend architecture and technical direction for the marketing site

Mentor junior engineers and review frontend work for quality and consistency

Ensure best practices around performance, accessibility, and SEO

Continuously improve UI polish, animations, and user experience

Required Experience

Experience working on high-traffic SaaS or startup websites

Tenure of 2+ years at companies with clear individual impact

Proven collaboration with cross-functional teams (engineering, marketing, design)

A portfolio of high-quality frontend work demonstrating strong design sensibility

Technical Skills

Expert-level proficiency in React, TypeScript, CSS, and Next.js

Hands-on experience with code-based animations (Framer Motion, GSAP, Lottie, or similar)

Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals, including:

Web performance optimization

Accessibility standards

Search-friendly rendering and architecture

Design & Leadership Traits

Highly opinionated about design and UX details

Creative with small design choices that make a big impact

Comfortable mentoring junior engineers and setting frontend standards

Strong communicator with non-technical stakeholders

What We’re Not Looking For

Frontend engineers without design, UI, or user-facing product experience

Contractors or freelancers who frequently change roles every few months

Candidates focused solely on internal tooling or backend-heavy work

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $170,000 – $220,000 USD

Equity: Competitive equity package

Visa Sponsorship: Available (can sponsor most visas)

Remote Work: Remote-first within the US and Canada

Offices in New York City and San Francisco

Hiring Plan

Hiring 1–2 engineers

One hire will act as team lead for the marketing website

This role includes real ownership and influence, not a placeholder title

How to Apply

Candidates should be prepared to share:

A portfolio of frontend or web work

Examples of high-impact, user-facing websites they’ve owned or led

Experience collaborating with design and marketing teams
