Duties- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring that all food preparation meets safety and hygiene regulations.
- Manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative team atmosphere.
- Develop new menu items and specials that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends.
- Maintain inventory levels of food supplies and ensure proper storage practices are followed.
- Monitor food presentation and quality to ensure consistency across all dishes served.
- Assist in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen protocols.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
Experience- Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation methods, and kitchen equipment.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen environment.
- Excellent communication skills to facilitate teamwork and enhance guest satisfaction.
